Going Back To My Roots . . .

Remember the early days, before javascript, before Flash, when the web was simple? I'm removing all the clutter and going back to my roots!

I am in the process of redesigning http://newark1.com and need your critiques. No Javascript, Ajax or Flash. Just plain old css. In fact, the homepage uses only one image and the new content page layout use just two images (not including the images that load as part of the content). In spite of that, I still wanted an appealing design. Did I get it right? Let me know! Some of the pages are still using the old design (they have a purple background) until I can get to changing them. Thanks for any critique you can provide!

wow... I had completely forgotten what plain simple css can do. makes me realize how overly dependent we are on JS, ajax and the like. The only thing i would change probably would be bringing the navigation on top instead of bottom. But thats just me, it looks great this way too...

PS: would it be ok if I mention something about this on my blog and give a link to your webpage.
