Font terrible?

Hey all,

I am new here, but I figured you were the crowd to ask, so that is why I joined. I have started a free classifieds website. Some of my friends and family have given negative feedback about the font/colors and said it was too hard to read. Since this is important to the use of the site, I wanted to get the opinions of some more experienced developers. So any opinions would be appreciated!

I think the text needs more contrast with the background. Like a dark colored font with a light colored background

Okay, I appreciate the feedback. I made the background a little darker, I think it helped somewhat, but did it help enough?
