Email Testing with Litmus

Hey everyone,

I'm testing some email templates using Litmus and I was wondering about how much I can trust its accuracy.

I have a very cleanly coded email that looks fine when I paste the code in Litmus to do the testing.

However, if I put the code in a mailchimp template file (where it looks messed up in the preview), and then send that to Litmus, it looks just like it did in MailChimp.

Kind of stuck on which one to trust here.

When I view my code I see absolutely no reason why it's rendering this way in mailchimp.

Any thoughts on which one I should trust (mailchimp vs litmus)?

Neither!

Test it in a mail client (or several preferably) because not one of the intended recipients of your emails will be using "mailchimp" OR litmus to actually read the messages.
