I know that you probably can't, but i just want to make sure. I have designed a template in school and I put it into dreamweaver and it is now fully coded. Can I copy the dreamweaver files and open them up on a computer that does not have dreamweaver on it?

In that scenario the files will open in their default application, for example, a HTML document will most likely open in Firefox / Internet Explorer.

To edit the file without Dreamweaver you can use Windows notepad although this is a text only environment with no GUI. However, there are many free HTML editors to try.

You can edit .htm files with any word or html editing software, see Voodish's answer above
