Do you need an IDE for web development?

Just wondering if you seasoned web developers use any IDEs for web development and if so, what ones.

I'm a noob that has just been doing everything (html5, css, javascript, AJAX, PHP) with N++ and filezilla and was thinking maybe to start with an IDE. Just wanted to know waht your guys tips/advice are.

I don't consider myself "seasoned." That being said, I use http://www.sublimetext.com/.

It's fairly popular among "seasoned" developers.

N++ is an IDE??? Hmm... so is something like netbeans overkill for web development then?
