Hi there,
A few thoughts now that I realized you posted this here.
First, he menu structure is a bit confusing. The links at the top of the page seem to constantly change depending on which page you're on so that your viewers always know what their options are. (Also, on the Hugh Kennard page the "Invecta Airways" link is broken.)
Also, elements in the main content column seem to be left or above the background for that area. Should try to fix that if you can.
There's also a lot of space on the Links page, which is a bit confusing.
Overall though, it's a good start for a beginner. The design is generally clean and the color choices make the text easy to read.

I'm kinda new also in designing but here are my thoughts..
the clouds in the header looks kinda fake maybe the size is wrong.. or you could try blurring it a bit..
To me, "the airline of Kent" should use another color.. pink is too "jumpy" to me..
and why there is no box for "An Invicta DC4 comes into land"?
looks imbalance since the other two is covered up..
