Some dick has decided not to pay balance on website we did for them as he seems to have gotten it into his head it should have taken a week and not a month and therefore he shouldnt pay full amount. Anyone here prepared to submit expert written evidence that a one month time frame for a custom built site (wireframes & Mockups & build) is perfectly reasonable? If so PM me.

Timescale all depends on the original brief or specification, and whether you agreed to a one week timescale.

If you didn't give the client any completion date or period then they don't have a case. Have a solicitor send them a "letter of intent" to submit to a small claims court for an enforcement order.

Yes we've done that and he's submitted a defence so off to court we go. No deadline or timescale was set and the imbecile took two weeks to get back to us after we sent wireframes so I'm wondering how he's going to reconcile that with the expectation of a website in one week.
