hello,
I'm very new to the whole area of CMS and on a steep learning curve, so please forgive what may sound like dumb questions!
I've been asked to implement a CMS for clients who have sets of image galleries on their site. I need to find a solution which allows them to freely upload and re-order images and automatically creates thumbnails and inserts them into a thumbnail page with links to larger images and captions. The following is an example from the current HTML site, which would need to look exactly the same with a CMS running the backend:
http://clairebrewster.co.uk/birds.html
As in the example above, the large images must link to each other with next/previous links. Are there systems which would have scope for this? I have looked at a couple in detail (silverstripe and CMSMS) but have not yet found a solution. Most add-on image modules seem to use fancy lightboxes, which I don't want to use at all.
any help much appreciated!
Thom
