charging a fair price

Ive been web designing casualy for about a year and people are starting to ask me how much I would charge them to design a site! I have no idea what to charge or where to get started with this does anyone have any suggestions...?

Well they say to take whatever you think it will cost you for your time and then mulitply by 4

This is still hard for me even though I've been at it for many years...

Basically just don't under value yourself, otherwise you'll get burned out and feel resentful at your customers for expecting so much for so little (even though it was you who quoted them the little amount).

Now to follow my own advice one of these days.
