My company has designed and developed a profiling & news site for Yorkshire businesses called Mr. Yorkshire. Please take a look at it here:

Any comments on the design, structure, SEO etc would be much appreciated. The site is designed to appeal to business people and customers, and to look formal and classy.

The site looks very professional, but the homepage is bombarded with too many images. It's too busy. There's no focal point.

The site looks good enough, but I am not sure about the choice of domain name, does not somehow seem appropriate for a yorkshire business profile site to be called mryorkshire.

The main issue I noticed was the 1.4MB GIF background image. You could probably make repeating JPEG/GIF out of that and shave about 1.35MB off the image size, not to mention you wouldn't need to worry about monitors with resolutions higher than 1319px.

Overall not a bad design; the content is well laid out and I think the color scheme is pretty good.
