Big Spam Problem Help pleaseee !!!

Hi

A month ago I created a 3D architectural forum on my own website and I am having to delete about 5 spam posts daily, is there something I can do to make those spam websites are suspended from the internet? Please let me know, I really want to proceed against these MF

what is the url? what are you using for the forum?

one thought would be to have a captcha setup to prevent robots

If you are using PhpBB that is a spam magnet.
Like Shaun said, captcha helps a fair bit.
Other then that all you can do is keep deleting and when the forum starts to get real busy then get more moderators to help out.
5 a day is nothing yet by the way, it gets a LOT worse

If the forums also have registration setting you can modify... verified email authorization like these forums.
