Antispam code

Hey guys,

Can anyone help me find a strong antispam code for an online form, I have a page that is really being attached by spammers.

The first thing to try would be captcha:

Try AntiSpam Sniper Pro, it's a strong anti-spam tool. But reCAPTCHA would be fine.

You could try having the form as a jquery onfocus event, where people have to actually CLICK the send button too, that has stopped ALL of my spam. If you would like to do that i can find a reference

Is it a good idea to have spam prevention entirely dependent on javascript though?...what if a user turns javascript off?

Should really have some PHP checking involved as well.

I would add a captcha but I am curious about the jquery onFocus.

Captcha is one of the best methods it cut down spam on my site by over 50%

The Spam is the electronic world’s biggest problem. A fool proof method of filtering out spam does not yet exist, but we don’t have to sit back and take it.
