According menu background color and border around buttons

Hi everyone,

I have 2 small issues: the background color for the list items in my menu opens downward and then applies to the right of the left panel (see for yourself), and there is a border around my buttons in Internet Explorer. How could I fix this?

On a complete side-note, do you think you can also comment on why the site might have been rejected for AdSense aside from the fact that the content is brief? All of the content is authentic.

The border is caused by the arrow image being a link. Give that image link a border of none.
That will make it go away.
I'm not sure what the question was about the background color???
