    Agreed here not bad for a first design. I would also agree with moving the menu up. Thats where users are generally use to seeing it at anyways and its always good to follow usability factors when structuring web sites. A site thats hard to use won't have many fans ;p.

    Agreed my suggestion would be go through a merchant(like paypal, or Authorized) and let payments process through there portals, much safer and easier to set up.

    It depends are you trying to import the old look of the website into the new Wordpress driven website? Wordpress would make it very easy for them to make changes anytime, maneuvering a custom theme is a little work but worth learning.
