What magical decompiler are you using? Flash decompilers are TERRIBLE in my opinion. SoThink SWF (The full version) couldn't even decompile the simplest of SWF's. Oh yea, and the actionscript that they spew out is so rudimentary that it sometimes won't even work.

yes there is. Just click Site > Manage Sites. Then choose New Site. A dialog box will appear with a bunch of options. Type in the name of the site, and choose the root folder. Very simple.

Anytime I make a change in code while in dreamweaver and it doesn't display properly in the Design View, I simple resize the window slightly causing the design view to refresh. Very helpful.

if you are using the same hexadecimal codes, then I would guess that it must be the browser/computer. Have you tested it on other computers and browsers? Windows machined generally have a darker display.

I think you're out of luck unless you or your client are willing to buy Adobe Contribute (which is incredibly easy to use). I don't know of any free alternatives. It's a shame.
