SEO is NOT, I repeat NOT going to get traffic to your website URLs, it is a fallacy, always have been always will be. Optimisation is to get conversions, advertising is what will get traffic. Do not believe the "experts" garbage about SEO being the secret to success, because it is not.

Certainly, if you have a product or service that IS in big demand all of the time, by lots and lots of disparate (and possibly desperate) individuals from MANY locales, Search [with a capital 'S'] can be a good source of conversions. You, ... ... haven't, based on your signature links, what you have is a website in a over-hyped, over-competitive marketplace where there almost as many vendors as there are customers. Contrary to popular belief the whole world is NOT searching for website designers, about the only people using search engines for 'you most impotrant keywrods' (mis-spelling deliberate) list, and here I'll assume that it is a fairly short list, are other people with a site in the same marketplace who are "checking rankings" for their 'key' words.
"Search" is not going to help you advertising in the right places is what you need.

Really!! What difference do you think that is going to make??? No need to answer that as it is a rhetorical question.

The answer to it is NOTHING, Nada, Zero, zip, diddly squat, F*** All. [Choose your favourite metaphor]

Wherever or whomever you get your SEO "advice" from, ... ... ... STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They obviously have no clue at all about it.

"SMO" is a misnomer, because it is not 'optimising', it is marketing.

SMO could be used to describe the process of deciding what and where, to do any marketing using the social media platforms. SMO is the process of defining and optimising the strategy to make best use of your time, whereas SMM would be the actuality.

It may seem like a particularly pedantic point in word usage but when one uses the appropriate labelling it makes it more understandable for others.

"Optimising" can only refer to something that is within the 'optimisers' direct control.
