Is there any wordpress slider plugin with this gray-scale slider, thumbnails effect?
How to place the row of thumbnails at a given/exact position on the page?

If you use grey scale or monochrome images any of them will.

That really depends on what 'plugin' you decide to use and how it connects/integrates with whatever theme you are using or you intend to use.

I have just find a Mater Slider plugin for Wordpress. I seems to be able to satisfy globally my desires. I will (that I wanted to avoid) use grayscale images for thumbnails and some slides.

I have still some questions:

How can I place (my choice of placement on page) a piece of text for each slide (see the attached wesite address - http://www.yh2architecture.com/)?
How can I, in a quite easy way get greyscale thumbnails in colour while hovering?

Replace the image with a monochrome version (desaturate in an image editor) with javascript or CSS if it is a background image.

Thanks. I have got it. I'd rather Master Slider though. Setting is less complex end more user-friendly (at least in my case).

I have already found a person who kindly helps me in my particular case.
