Was just wondering weather Image Text Logo has a better or worse affect on SEO versus Text Logo Title for SEO... What if I use both!

I originally had a Text Logo with my Keywords in it. But later wanted a more attractive Title/Text Logo so I made one with Photoshop. Has Long has I add Alt Tags to the image it will work the same? it has to have some kind of effect on SEO. maybe not.

I believe that text logo, has a little more influence on SEO, that graphic logo.
e.g. if your site/company's name is "Muscle-builder", and you have it in an image format,
google wont read it. (google read texts).
If it is text and h1 for example, google will read it and will read your "muscle-builder" text, and will index your page with these words.
So, i believe it matters....

I agree, a text logo is better. You can always add a graphical logo anywhere on the page.Hope this helps, good luck.

Whether you have a logo is a text link or an image doesn't matter. Search engines don't look for a div or img with the magical class "logo" on them and dock you if it's an image. What search engines are looking for in this respect is your header tags, and what's in them. You should, somewhere have an h1 tag near the top of the page with your site's name in it. If you want to use an image, don't sweat it. Just add the h1 elsewhere, push the text out of site if you like, and move on.

But given the fact that humans associating pictures with something makes recall much quicker, means that an pictorial logo is MUCH better for branding.

This is a damn good point. I, personally prefer to go with both. What do I mean by that? It isn't hard to make text do what you want using CSS. Make text a part of the logo, much like I did here.
