Why won't the QuickTime controller play

More people have Flash than QuickTime. For starters I'd upload .flv files. Then just have a text hyperlink to the QuickTime files. Then there shouldn't be any problems. No QuickTime scripts required.

use html5 video
or embed from youtube/vimeo.
YouTube uses .flv don't they? I actually used savetube.com to grab my .flv file off YouTube using their compression.

What is the file extension for html5 video do you use when exporting from After Effects?

mp4 and ogg are the supported movie file extensions. Not any of those.

I was being somewhat facetious as HTML5 video does not use browser "pugins" that rely on extensions, it is the FORMAT of the video that matters

And you missed out the webM format.


Someday MS IS going to get rid of the long outdated need for file extensions identifying what application opens the file.
