Event scheduling

So I am pretty good with Wordpress, but I'm trying to branch out when it comes to some of the sites I manage and I'm looking for a open source script which would allow me to schedule different banners to be displayed at different times. And idea like...

Show banner 1 default> show banner two starting nov 28th >show banner 3 December 5th.

One of my clients is a bar, so the "homepage promo" banner changes constantly. And I want to do them all 3 months in advance and schedule them. Anyone have a decent script for this? Thanks

Yea. Guess most don't read... Figures I'd run into a bunch of douchebags on a forum.
are you for real? douchebag? because we didnt "read"
1. an open source script does not imply you are not using wordpress
2. nor does it imply that you are using an alternative

in fact the only thing mentioned in your original post which is even related to, and would give someone an idea of what you are, have and can do in relation to a cms is that you are "pretty good with wordpress" in fact your statement is that you want a script to modify a header, prepended with a statement on your ability in wordpress. the only douchbag here is the douchebag who couldn't word their question right and then retaliates when people incorrectly assume, based on the vague original post that it is to be developed in wordpress. Apologies for upsetting almighty for coming to that conclusion.

like chris said enjoy your search.

p.s calling developers "douchbags" when you've never dealt with nor have any understanding of their knowledge and ability is not only stupid and arrogant too and is hardly the way to work in a community, nor does it come across as professional at all.

and trust me I know how to read...

Why are we all being so rude?

Anyway, OP. Are you using any type of CMS? Or will it be a flat html site?

It's currently HTML (basically using php to develop a back bone for the site) but no CMS yet. I plan on using an admin page to bring all of the variables in to a sort of rudimentary CMS, for now.

Thank you for the lesson in professionalism, it's kind of a tired argument when it comes from the very same person who needlessly posted on this topic to begin with. chrishirst tried to help, I apologized and cleared myself up and you found it necessary to inject what I believe to be narcissism into an issue that had already been cleared up. No retaliation until the "developer", of whom I understand nothing about his ability or knowledge, decided to show his conceit in a completely unneeded way. Which was also an extremely derogatory example of how to participate in a community.
