You are the designer are you not!

Maybe review a few others first and you will get a proper response.

Remove the "ld" and put a simple leaf either before or after "Leaf Designs"? Or place "Leaf Designs" on a leaf?

Well If I was asked to come up with a logo for Leaf Designs, it would a graphical play on words and be a collage of two or three different "well known" leaves.

I would experiment with leaf designs. Sometimes it’s helpful to step away from the computer and take a walk to brainstorm. If you have a foresty park nearby maybe you can find some leaves that get your creative juices flowing. Also I agree with Leroy30, if you gave us some more designs we can help you out better.

Type alone is fun to play with. You have a lot of organic curves and shapes to play with. Consider manipulating one of the letters ever so slightly by adding or subtracting elements to make it resemble a leaf. Now don't illustrate a leaf and just throw it in, there's no thinking behind it. Jst make a letter resemble a leaf for that "A-ha!" effect.

Hi Alan,This is my first time being here as I am very novice, but I threw this very rough draft together. Maybe you could get a few ideas?
My question was, I'm in construction of a new site and I never can find images I need for free so i make my own. What is happening is that almost every time I finish a crystal clear image it deteriorates somehow or somewhere in transferring or filing. I've tried resolution conversion,capture, resizing. I'm baffled? Any suggestions?

Help!

I'm new to this. I can't seem to navigate anywhere to post a new question. My question was this. I'm in construction of a new site and I never can find images I need for free so i make my own. My process is this. Create on Excel. Save as a web page. Reopen. Sometimes they are clear and sometimes not?

Shoot me now. Please don't do that. I'd rather you use some craptastic WYSIWYG editor (still garbage, but less so) than export from Excel. Some good (and by "good" I mean "less bad") free WYSIWYG editors are Xara and Kompozer. Please, for the love of all that is good and holy don't just export from Excel.

@Stephen,

I suggest looking for a website builder of some kind. That, or investing in a user-friendly IDE and/ or learning some (at the very least) basic HTML and CSS.

Please, if you don't often create spreadsheets or have a valid reason to be using Excel then banish it from your PC never to return. I've heard of some strange uses for it, but never website graphics. :S

In my honest opinion,If I were you I'd rather have a leaf as a logo or a word than that you did. Sorry but it just not seems to be attractive and can be easily remembered.
