Image Extract Help Needed

Hello all,

I am having a slight dilemma. I need to extract an image from a .pdf file I downloaded from shutter stock, but I am having difficulty doing so. I've been able to extract it several times, but can't do it with a TRANSPARENT background. Every time I extract & save it, the black image is still on a white background.

I have attached two files; one showing the image that I'd like to be extracted, and another one, with no edits. If somebody could please give me a hand with this, I'd greatly appreciate it!

By the way did you pay for that from ShutterStock? If so, it's very kind of you to give it away to anyone and everyone who happens to come across this thread.

Though I'm not entirely sure that ShutterStock would see it that way :D

i assumed they have paid fior it but it's not watermarked and it's an editable pdf. good point though Chris. And now due to my aiding and abetting people can download an illustrator version too!

Open the file in GIMP or Photoshop, use the wand tool on the background, and cut or delete.

Actually, I'm not sure if GIMP can handle a PDF... I'm not much of GIMP person. But I have opened some of my old PDFs in Photoshop to cut/paste stuff from before.

Heh, I'm not sure how but apparently I didn't. Maybe once the baby starts sleeping through the night I can pay attention better when I'm up.
