iWeb to Dreamweaver

I have just finished creating my first web site. I used iWeb, as I am a designer that lives and works in the print world, and am not so familiar with web design and HTML.

Almost immediately upon completion of my site, I started noticing the frustrations and lack of features that is the result of using iWeb.

So, my question is whether it is possible to somehow open my existing web site project, that was created in iWeb, in Dreamweaver instead. I do not want to recreate my site, but find it frustrating how slow iWeb sites are in loading, and that Flash is not supported, etc.

Thanks for your comments.

I don't use Dreamweaver (I prefer Expression), but I assume there is an option to create a new site using existing files.

yes there is.

Just click Site > Manage Sites.

Then choose New Site. A dialog box will appear with a bunch of options.

Type in the name of the site, and choose the root folder. Very simple.
