I'm looking for someone very experienced in WEB DESIGN....Im a graphic designer, and I have taken on a project for some people very high up in the music business (I will disclose that info when I find the person I am looking for). Unfortunately, this seems a little too much for me to handle right now since I'm not very advanced in the area of web design.

What I'm looking for is someone to collaborate with me in order to finish this site. I will do the graphics, while you do the coding. Yes, money is involved...and you will be compensated for your time and effort, again...this info will be given once I find a person willing to help me and I feel they are qualified.

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] for further info. Please include some examples of your work.

If you are willing to share with us at least some of the specifics ahead of time, we may be interested in working with you. We do all of our work in ASP.net (Windows platform), and guarantee the utmost quality.

I was simply stating how we work. Go waste someone else's time with your ridiculous thread hijacking attempts.

You have two completed sites in your portfolio, one of which has these tasteless bubbles floating up the screen. ASP.NET, pfft.... Get out from under Microsoft and realize some things.

I wouldn't accuse someone of threadjacking when you stepped over the line first, and now you have no further argument other than attempting to insult the person who questioned you.

Why would you assume ASP.net when you don't even know what the project is.

If that's what he works with then it's ok to assume. .NET is just as good as php if not better. The customer has the right to say, "you know what, I already have space on a linux server so you can't use .NET" and then they pick someone else. That's business.

Oh, you of little knowledge. You should do some reading on the .NET platform before you go of an blast Microsoft and this guy for using it.

Personally, I prefer open source software -- who wouldn't? It generally promotes new features and ideas that a single company or corporation could never hope to accomplish. However, the ASP.net platform (and Microsoft Visual Developer), regardless of what you may believe, is superior to PHP.

Haha... But, not superior to Flash and PHP working together...;)

You have no right to promote anything when you claim in earlier posts that you have little knowledge of Javascript. I wasn't flaming .NET as much as I was Microsoft and if you would have thought about my post you would notice that. If you have nothing with different functionality to compare with(e.g. Javascript) then how do you know how much better ASP.NET is?

Again, I do not have time for your crap. Thank you.

If you truly didn't, you wouldn't tell me or spend time putting your portfolio site on a forum....

First off, if I said I knew little about javascript it's because I know enough to get around it. It doesn't mean I don't know anything about it. I don't know php, but I can write code in it. If you were a realy programmer, you'd know that if you can do one language you can pretty much do them all. It's all about if's and loops.
Secondly, flash and PHP together are not the "big bad do everything in we development power duo." All flash can do is create movies (sometimes interactive movies), but that's it. Flash is old and everyone is getting away from it because they've realized that flash kills your search engine ranking.
If I were you I'd read before I spoke. Just because someone doesn't have adequate demo's on their site, does not mean they don't know what they're doing. I have no demo's anywhere, but I know for a fact that I can design and develop circles around you. That's why I work for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world doing design and development and you work with your daddy.

Hahaha....

I work for a private agency here in Dallas that pulls a lot of work through from Capital One. Now you wanna keep talking and I can burn you that way, or would you like to shut up so you don't make a fool of yourself with your competitive Texas attitude?

Anyone can structure a language, knowing its syntax and limits is another world...

Did you not read the part about the largest telecom company in the world? How can you compare a private agency to that?

Now what makes you an expert on competing web scripting languages? PHP itself is a good scripting language, unless you have a really good framework it doesn't hold a candle to .NET.
