Fonts for websites, custom or default?

certainly not default TNR and the horrible default link colours.

it totally depends on the client. 'nuff said.

well, a lot of custom fonts are not supported by some browsers (lets say IE supports it, but chrome don't). So what I should do on this situation?

P.S. some default font are cool. example "Century Gothic" font.

I wouldnt say century gothic is a default. Macs for a start dont come with it by default...

Googlefonts for custom fonts.

I have started using google webfonts or cufon embedded fonts for wordpress. Depending on the design and the budget of customers I will go the extra step to use one of these options. But it's always nice to get something different.
