im thinking about putting a flash logo on there, just to give it yet another cool thing.

It's good.
But remove marquee and also set proper background color.

I find the red text- on blue extremely uncomfortable to read. There is a flickr over your nav tabs....I would seriously think about completely restyling the entire page.
