SO if i change the meta tag will i see an instant change once i upload it to the server? Or does google have to "crawl" it and change it?

ok sooo

Ok so i changed it (index head) just like it said. I EVEN changed one of the flash mini banners to a JPEG (because i thought it was reading the text) and it still has not changed. Does google need to recrawl it and fix it on there side? Check out the attachment it shows basically the first page of code from the index page, and ontop it shows what google sees when it searches..
Thanks!

I'd try adding all the proper html and doc tags. Perhaps it doesn't think it's english and is trying to translate it for you. Also Google last crawled your page on the 30th of July, so patience is key too.

Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en">

Should i add that to every page or just to my index? Also should every page within the site have its own specific tags etc?

Ok i added the text above the <head> we will see if it makes a difference. Should i be adding that text above EVERYTHING page in my website, or is it just required on the index? also regarding tags, should i tag every page differently if it has different content etc? Sorry i'm not professional.
