I am interested in gathering some statistics and information on different operating systems. Post any thoughts, comments recommendations or anything else about different operating systems. You can also vote in the operating system poll

I am currently using XP, but all my friends are on windows 7, and they say it works great for them, so next week I will install it too.
Never tried Vista, and never will :)

Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Works great, faster than XP in my opinion. I also use Windows XP SP3, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows ME, Windows 98 SE, Windows 3.11, MS-DOS 6, Kubuntu 10.10, Ubuntu 10.10, Ubuntu NBR 10.04, Fedora 12, Debian 5, and Linux Mint 9 LXDE, all in VirtualBox :D.
On my dual 1.3 GHz PowerMac G4, I run Mac OS 9.22, Mac OS X 10.4.11, and Mac OS X 10.5.2.

I'm using Windows 7. Then again I'm used to Windows machines and it's what I'm most comfortable with.

Currently suffering on Vista x64. I have the upgrade disc for 7 x64 I am currently using as an ashtray, couldn't imagine it worth being a system overhaul.

Guess I will try to upgrade then...

Hopefully it's a little more friendly on my RAM.

I am confident with Windows XP.

It’s better to use it for some more time.

I'm using windows 7. I don't ever plan on switching to a Mac. I feel that most of the people I know do their web design work on a PC. At least in New Jersey

For some game and some programming (C# XNA) I use Windows 7, but whenever I can I use Fedora 14 with Openbox/Gnome.

just dual boot if you've got an intel chip.
Its easier than you think - and doesnt come with a hefty pricetag
