What open source CMS would suit my requirement?

Hey, I'm about develop a website with admin control for the following:

Upcoming Event (Dynamic)
  • This will be a dynamic page managed by admin.
  • The main idea behind this is to give information to the visitors about all the future events being organized.

Success Stories (Dynamic)
  • This will be a dynamic page managed by admin.
  • This page will provide information about Events conducted in recent past with some Event photos
  • Also this will provide information about the programs the in past with some photos

Downloads & Purchase
  • This will be a dynamic page managed by admin.
  • A link to send email.
  • Option to chose and place an order

I need to know what would be the most user friendly CMS to achieve this. There will be other pages in the website but they can be static and dont really require admin control. I really need advice as there are a zillion CMSs out there and im just not sure which one to go with.

I agree with you on Drupal and wordpress but i cant help but think like a developer. My major concern is that my client who is not the most internet savvy person should able to use the admin with ease. Of course I will provide training but it needs to be very user friendly.
That said, wordpress seems to the popular choice. Thanks for the links :)
