Hey guys!
We have recently released to the public the beanstok.com microblogging portal.
We are specifically looking for your feedback on the user-friendliness of the "bean" format and if the "bean" posting process is intuitive enough.
Any other feedback is also much appreciated.

Is this supposed to be like Twitter??

The site doesn't really tell us much, other than asking a user to sign up. When you ask a user to sign up with little to no information, their first reaction is going to be "No Way!"

Just some food for thought!

Website update

Hello again and thanks for all your comments.
We've made a few design changes and would like to get your feedback again if possible.
As far as the twitter similarity comment goes...yes, some features might seem similar between the 2 sites however the differences are vast: more user friendly interface, multi-threaded conversations, ability to auto-recognize media files/links (pics, videos), import of 3rd party content (twitter, facebook etc.) in the same bean format etc. More incredible features are in the works.

Another update

Hey guys,
Thanks again for all your feedback. We've tried to incorporate as much as we could in the re-design of some things.
We've mainly redone the main page, the top bar (you can see all features on it when logged in) and some other minor changes.
Don't hesitate to give us further feedback.
