It's been around a while. I have an account that I have logged in to exactly twice, plus an app on my phone I have never used. Does nothing for me
LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 120 million members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn connects you to your trusted contacts and helps you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network of professionals.
Well done!! You have mastered copy and pasting, so next you could move on to actually typing a reply!!
From what I understand it's Facebook for businessmen. I've had a few salesmen and lawyers try to add me to their network. Probably just as a headcount, I'm a nobody.
But it doesn't for students|teenagers|bored people to while their time away playing pointless "games" and "liking" each other. It is for real business owners and professionals etc. to "connect" with other business owners and professionals
linkedin is good for social network and it has been around for awhile. but it isn't like facebook or twitter.
Uh, right, is that like traffic on the road coz if so I think that's really bad for the environment so I'm going to stop using it...
Ive found people to be very touchy on linkedin, dare not tell them that they are doing x y z wrong! I do anyway, I dont think they like me much...
Why do people keep referring to it as a social network? It's a network, but it's for professionals, not for teens and young adults to post half-naked pictures, for parents and aunties to embarrass you on your statuses and it certainly isn't a place to slate other people and worst of all - tag them in it. If you were to do half of things people do on Facebook you would become a massive fail.
