Web hosting clients - What are they worth?

I own and run a small web hosting company. We have a few dedicated servers and about 300 domains or thereabouts. I have had some larger companies approach me asking me to sell.

Anyone wish to give their 2 bits about this and what it is all worth?

generally 4-8 months revenue, but so many factors will play part on the final price for 1 client.

one important factor is how profitable the existing clients are.
Clients with a higher margin are worth more, than those with lower margins, which companies may not be interested in. So a multiple of revenue may be one factor, but there are so many other issues that come into play.
