Web Design OS?

Hi,

Have a question figured here would probably be a good place to ask. I'm wondering if there's an operating system like a linux or something for web designers? What i mean by this is one that has php, mysql, a webserver, all those things for development, im trying to setup a vm with windows 2008 and installing and configuring all these things is becoming such a hastle to get running.

Mac has apache and php by default. You have to download mysql though.

Just about any Linux flavor will be ready to go out of the box.

I worked with Ubuntu Server - another version of Linux comes with PHP and MySql
