Web Commerce Software...

So i have a potentially new client who wants to set up an online ordering sytem for his new business. Its a gourmet deli/bakery, kinda like a starbucks, very nice. anyway, he wants to offer people the ability to set up orders online. Ex, pay online w/ credit card, specify the item wanted with toppings ( cheese, salami...) and a shopping cart. Is there a simple way to set up a bare bones system for this and pasting the code onto a site? its my first attempt at something like this so i have no idea if im over extending beyond my abilities ( i know the basics of web design but im more of a graphic designer )

I would not use osCommerce because it is not bare bones. In order to do a bare bones eCommerce app you will need to do a custom one.
