Visual Studio 2008

I am running VB through Parallels and almost everything works great, however I am having one issue.
Trying to create an ASP.Net website, instead of opening the interface I get the error message "Invalid URL: The hostname could not be parsed.". Anyone experience this and know a fix?

Have you checked your weblogs to see if you can view any invalid requests coming through at the same time? That could be the good place to begin...
