Ok here is my problem. I am using a template for several pages. If I view it on FireFox(I have a mac) it is fine. I can view all the pages and everything renders great. However with safari and internet explorer nothing shows up. At all. it is just a blank white browser window. But if I view the source within the browser it is all there. So my question is why are the pages not rendering in safari and IE?

I am using one template and one css style sheet.

    thanks
    Matt

have you run the document through a validator? it will usually give you some clues on what has gone wrong in your coding. the strange thing is, IE is usually more forgiving when it comes to syntax errors and such...

Found this link for online validator: http://validator.w3.org/

Do you have it uploaded yet? Can we take a look at it? I had some issues with rendering on IE on my home PC, but it turned out that I had some IE settings all screwed. Who needs it anyways, use Firefox? :)

It's really not a matter of our personal preferences in browsers. If that were the case then we wouldn't design for cross browser use. IE is the most used browser in the world... that's a fact of internet life... if you don't design your sites for IE then you've already seriously eliminated a lot of traffic... which is the goal of a successful site... lots of traffic means more chance that your product, service, affiliate services, or whatever will make you successful in return... anything else is just play and you can design it however you want because it won't matter what happens in the long run.

Sorry, I see my sarcasm didn’t translate well. I agree with you, and was only mildly joking.

LOL... not a problem really but I'm not sure the person asking took it as sarcasm.
