small business website help?

I am new to web design. For my portfolio site i agreed to design a web site for a friend's small business. If i design it on my own computer, upload it on the web with a web hosting service for a small business. How will the company gain access to their company's e-maili.e.info.theircompanyname.com. I am confused by this nobody? Won't it open in my POP e-mail account.

The selected hosting provider will supply the data needed to set-up and access email. Most hosts offer both POP and Web-based email access, and will provide the info needed to set-up the email accounts upon activation of a hosting account.
