Yes, it is annoying.

Design looks sharp, clean, and has a nice focal point. Only complaint...the background image. I use a 23" monitor and at 1280+ res, I can where the background is tiling. It would be nice if you got that seam to blend better. Yeah it's a minor issue, but thought i would mention it.

Markup...

1. w3c validation shows two errors (thought i think it is just one). You have not closed the submit input.
2. I don't see the need for the empty div (dune), I try to avoid using empty tags especially divs.
3. Suggestion, why not just add the sand, conch, and starfish into one image and assign to the background of the footer?

All in all, very nice design. Kudos.

Thanks. I knew the image method I chose was wrong since I had to rush it. Now that I have some time I will go back and make it smooth and valid.
