RSS to HTML

So I am in the process of designing a custom homepage for myself, but I want to include some RSS feeds. But, to make it more difficult, I want to be able to completely customize it with colors, layout, font, what's included, etc. I want it to be exactly what I want so it fits with my page. I know this will probably take a while, but I'm willing to learn and take my time to make a good page. Thanks for the help

Also, I want to incorporate a Google search. As in, I want to have a search bar like on google.com. I don't want it searching my site or anything else, just a regular Google search. I've tried playing with the code on google.com, but all I can get is it to go to C:/search. I'll keep trying.
