Recommendations for a video heavy site

Hi,
I am an animator and am just starting my website now. I have a ton of animations for various categories. I'm looking to have a main "network" site, and then several "channels" for the different types of video. The main network would have news feeds, stories, and sample videos from the channel sites, sort of act as a hub.

I've been looking at using Joomla, or even a simple wordpress blog. I'd love some recommendations.

Joomla seems to be the way to go

It would probally be easiest to use Joomla and one of the several video hosting apps, such as Seyret, or the newer JVideo!. If you go this way and need help, let me know
