heya all! My name is Gabriel and I’m new here. I can barely draw a straight line in photoshop and I’m not that good at design either. I like the traditional approach, the feeling I get from holding a pencil and a piece of paper.
Which brings me to the subject of my work: realistic pencil drawings:
I drew these with charcoal and pastel plus some cotton for blending. The time it takes for a drawing from start to finish depends on the size and complexity (10-30h). The result is a drawing that looks like a picture at first sight. In fact, many people think these are just photos and not drawings. Funny thing, some have even gone as far as comparing one of my works with the original photo, manipulating the both in trying to prove that my work was just a photoshop job.
