I have been asked to design a site for a campsite. Please can you visit www.lower-polladras.co.uk and comment on it. I know it uses frames but I don't know any other way of keeping the top static and scrolling the main screen. Thanks

from BWD

your site is all over the place
you need to make it more a story from one page to the next
the pics at the bottom of the home page look like they have bits in between them missing

also you have used frame sets
this is bad design technique
use css and dump all tables
also you have sound that i cant turn off
this is also really bad

in your site pics bit when i press the pic it brings the pic up in the frame
this is ok but there is then no back button to go back to the gallery

anouther REALLY BAD THING

you have a w3c validator on your site

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lower-polladras.co.uk%2FPrices.htm

just because you see this little badge on a site dosnt mean you use this code style it means you can write code to a good valid standard
and yours is far from it

sorry for any harshness in my points but it will help you try harder next time ;)

sorry but im honest

XHTML and CSS is best!

BWD is spot on - don't do frames! There's endless reasons, but trust us they are good ones.

The page titles could be different to attract search engines - people may search for 'Wossname Holiday park' but they are more likelyt to search for 'tourist/vacation sites Cornwall UK' and variations. You've got several pages - use em!

Don't discouraged, we only rave about what's wrong, plenty is right, I'm sure.;)
