PHP noob here. need help with images

I know very little about PHP. My friend helped me design this website for our band. One thing I do not like is our pictures section. We want galleries of pictures, but on this particular page it also shows random images, newest uploads. What i want to do is clean it up so it only shows galleries in which you click on the gallery and then the images for that gallery show up. How would I go about doing that? Well I don't think this is really a php problem, all you'd really want to do is create a new page with only your galleries, and then after the user clicks on a particular gallery, it will take them to another page that displays all the images in that gallery, from there they can click to expand them as well. Hope this helps
