No replies because of spam bots?

I was getting kind of blah at a lack of replies, I mean this site is on the top of googles search results for webdesign... but I have seen almost all spam posts since joining an zero actual human posts. Perhaps it would be good for posts from new users to require some type of capcha..? perhaps the first 10 posts or such. At leasts this would weed out all this spam.

As this is a design forum I am sure the admin or some members would be able to implement this feature.

If not then I will figure it out in an hour and boast about it for a day. Promise.

Idea, add a input with no value in the message/compose/quick reply window. Of course wrap this input in a class that is set to hidden or display none. If the input comes back with any input other than blank then ignore the post?

The spam has now been deleted. The recaptcha system was implemented recently to try and cut down on spam, but the last week it has gotten worse. Will continue to look at other ways.
