Newbie page layout help!

KO Web

Hello all, im in dire need of some help! I created a new site with Network Solutions using their ImageCafe site builder. I began building the site in IE7 but then switched over to Firefox. All was well, and everything looked perfect when I was looking at the "working preview", but when I published the site it all went screwy. The left column stayed the same, but the center "main" content of the site shifted way far right. So far, in fact, that you cant see anything except for the left column unless you scroll all the way over. The site is www.trophytack.com. There you can see exactly what is wrong. I called Network Solutions and have tried the page on many different computers and it all comes up messed up in IE. They wont be able to get back to me for 2-3 business days and I dont have that kind of time.

Im not a web designer and im at my wits end trying all kinds of things to get it to look right. It looks perfect in Firefox and anything else, but it is all messed up in every version of IE that ive tried.

Thanks in advance!

The thing between IE and FF is a common problem when using site builders.

The most common misshap is CSS between the two platforms. IE interprets CSS like a donkey ass, figurably speaking.

The most common solution is to have 2 different style sheets, one that works in everything (firefox, safari etc) and one that works in the rest, namely IE. And then you can have the server identify the browser when they enter your website and then have the server switch between the different style sheets.

This is doable, but i have no idea how to implement that solution to your choice of site-builder :p
