I think you're doing okay for someone doing it to raise extra funds! If you really wanted to get serious, then I'd get my head around Graphic Design Theory more if I were you. The Designs are reasonable, and if you are getting money for them that's great. Sometimes your use of colour needs looking into, for example your oatridge hotel website, your links when turned grey, clash with the red background. And your title gets lost in the header graphic a little bit. I noticed a few spelling errors here and there (including your own website!) so you really need to spellcheck all your content. I'm not sure I would use bold on your body copy as it's a bit heavy going on the eyes. The footer text looks lost on your car website.

It really depends on your goals, if you are getting customers then keep doing what you're doing, you just need to tidy up a little here and there.
