Hey folks,
Name is Snapper and I'm planning to start a web design business. I'll be looking around trying to get help from the forums here, but I wanted to start off by asking if anyone can make some suggestions on the best trade magazines for web designers. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

If I were to start over, I would target a specific industry. Then you can hopefully get paid for work you have already done. Using ideas from other sites. It is hard to make a really good living doing programming, web design, SEO, and other custom stuff. Well, at least in my opinion. Depends on what kind of business person you are I guess.

I would just sign up for forums like this one. I have only ever received one trade magazine ever and it was about hosting. It wasn't really that good.
