imagemap help

I've got a picture I want for the index page of my site. On the top left of the picture, I have the words "Enter Site". I have another picture made with the same "Enter Site" altered a bit. I plan on making an imagemap of the first image to be a link into the site. When the viewer moves the mouse over the words "Enter Site," I want only that portion of the picture to change to the second picture so the words alter to add more effect.

I have no idea how to do this, so any help would be much appreciated.

I suggest you make this a challenge for yourself. I can definitely create a code for you right now. But I think it would be best if you can resolve this issue for yourself. Once you are used to resolving issues without any help from others that will make you comfortable and will mostly lead to solutions on your own. Start trusting your ability use all the god given talent in tackling any issues.
