Illustrator printing at wrong size

HI All, I'm having a problem with Illustrator, I am setting the Artboard to what I is the saying the correct size 6.5cm x 9.5 cm, and my image fills this, but when I export the image (using for web and devices or saviong as a pdf) it is not printing the correct size. Is it something to do with the resolution? If so what should this be, it's for print. I don't really understand

AI is a vector based program, so I wouldn't think the resolution has anything to do with it, but...

What is happening to the print size when you export? Is it too big? Too small? Are you exporting it at 100% actual size?

It is too small. I'm having to resize it in Fireworks as when I export from there it is the correct size, but this is not ideal. As far as I can see it is, how would I know? I've gone through all the print settings. It looks small too when I open it in the PDF, whereas the Fireworks version looks right.

check the resolution you are viewing it at normally the size would look correct but the percent you are viewing it at *(bottom left of program) needs to be changed to the correct size so it will print out the size you would like it to.

I have done that and it says 100% so I have still no idea

what size does it print at? measure it and see. upload the files somewhere so we can take a look (the illustrator file and linked documents) or upload the pdf first so we can take a look at that

Same thing here! I was also having some issues regarding the artboard. I was trying to fix this since last month but could not get any luck fixing it. Please let me know if you have resolution to this problem.

Set your image size as "defined by driver". Check your setting in Acrobat as well.

That's a weird problem. I would think that since you are using a vector-based program that you wouldn't have problems with resizing. Perhaps the problem is something different entirely?
