I only know html, should I learn wordpress???

I only know html but over many years have gotten very good at it. But I think wordpress is where it's at today. My challenge is that my wordpress sites end up looking like a dogs breakfast because I'm about as good as your grandma with the program. Do you think it's worth learning or should I just stick with what I'm good at??? Just think that my skills are really getting old fast.

When people ask me, and I tell them I design in html they reply..."what's html??" ha ha.

well you just posted a site before which showed that you are 10-15 years off the ball.

your html skills need an upgrade first.

There's a lot more you need to learn before Wordpress. There is no "designing in HTML" anymore. All of those tags/attributes were deprecated some time ago. You need to go back, update your HTML knowledge, learn CSS, JS and have at least a basic understanding of PHP. Then, wander into Wordpress or some other PHP-based CMS.
